The Wyndham Ring Road

What is the Wyndham Ring Road?

The Wyndham Ring Road will connect Tarneit to Wyndham Vale and Manor Lakes and provide a direct link from these suburbs to the Princes Freeway.

This will be done by building the Ison Road Overpass, and a new bridge over the Werribee River between Tarneit and Wyndham Vale.

Werribee Main Road - Princes Freeway Interchange Upgrade

The Allan and Albanese Labor Governments have committed to upgrading the Werribee Main Road - Princess Freeway Interchange.

The upgrade will include duplication of on and off ramps, traffic lights at the intersections, and an additional lane on the overpass.

Ison Road

The Ison Road Overpass will link Wyndham’s west to the Princes Freeway — meaning residents won’t have to travel through central Werribee to get to the freeway. The new road is set to open to drivers, pedestrian and cyclists in late 2026, with over 29,000 daily journeys expected by 2036.

This project completes the removal of all level crossings across our community.

It's part of the Albanese and Allan Labor Governments' commitment to completing the Wyndham Ring Road.
